Intro
Jumeirah runs over 50 social accounts: hotels, resorts, restaurants, bars, spas. Roughly 1,500 pieces of content a month. The trouble with a number like that is that it shows. Every venue needed a character of its own, and all of it still had to feel like Jumeirah. So we stopped running it as a calendar and built a system behind it, across teams in Dubai and Cairo. Luxury sells restraint, and restraint is the first thing volume destroys. Fifty accounts moving at that speed drift into templates within a quarter, and an audience reads templates as cheap long before it reads them as consistent. The job was holding two things that don’t normally sit together. A beach club and a fine dining room can’t sound alike. Neither can look like it came from a different company. So we built one engine instead of fifty workflows: editorial planning, shoots and film, Figma calendars, modular design systems, brand toolkits, AI-assisted ideation, post and delivery. Every venue got room to sound like itself inside rules that held the masterbrand together. Dubai and Cairo stopped passing files between two teams. The work got faster without getting worse, which at 1,500 assets a month is the only measure that counts. My role was creative and art direction on the work, and the design of the system that let the work happen at that scale.
